My favorite Outdoor Game this season is Ladder Golf. This is an exciting and challenging game that can be played on grass, sand, concrete, patios and virtually anywhere where fun can be had.

It’s simple to play. You just toss the bolas onto the game ladder for points.

• The top Rung is worth 3 points
• The middle rung is worth 2 points
• The lower rung is worth 1 point.

Ladder Golf is one of the highest quality outdoor games that I have ever seen. It is made from solid hardwood with a great finish. It reminds me of good heavy patio furniture and it looks like it will last a very long time. The balls are real golf balls and the game just has an expensive feel to it. It’s not some kids play toy. This is a fine outdoor game that the whole family can enjoy.

Don’t be fooled by some of the low quality games on the market. Be sure to get the wooden Ladder Ball game by Ladder Golf. Some of the cheap plastic games are called hillbilly golf, blongo ball, bola toss, ladder ball etc..

The Ladder Golf game comes in 2 basic versions. The standard game, which is available with Green & White bolos or Red & Yellow bolas. The standard games comes with 1 game ladder and 2 sets of bolas. 2 players or 2 teams can play with the standard version.

Then comes the Tournament Edition, which includes 2 game ladders and 4 sets of bolas. I call this one the family edition, because 4 players or teams can play this game.

You can purchase extra bolas for your Ladder Golf too so you can play up to 8 players on 1 ladder.

The game has some great rule variations and bonus situations. For example if you get 3 bolas onto 1 rung you get an extra bonus point. So if you get 3 bolas on the top rung you actually can score 10 points. This is very difficult.

Ladder Golf is my favorite outdoor game this season and we will be playing it all summer long.

I wish I was a good enough golfer to know the difference between a $3 ball and an old $0.50 cent ball, but the reality is that I just end up losing 3-4 balls over the course of 18 holes.  I will have to say, I dislike losing my Callaway balls more than my Precept Ladies golf balls.
